In 2012, I was shortlisted for The Nick Darke Award and in February 2013, won the BBC Writer’s Prize with ‘Bang Up’ which was broadcast as the Radio 4 Afternoon Drama on August 8th 2013 and is available to download at this link. http://www.audiogo.com/uk/bang-up-sarah-hehir-gid-100195
‘March’ was selected for The Little Pieces of Gold Showcase at Park Theatre in June 2013 and ‘The Fourth Circle’ was performed at Canal Café Theatre and as part of The Rochester Literary Festival, Autumn 2013. A rehearsed reading of ‘Child Z’ at the Drayton Arms Theatre in November 2013 inspired me to start on an ambitious reworking of the idea!
My multiplatform proposal, ‘Dark’ reached the final shortlist for Portal Entertainment’s Immersive Storytelling competition in 2013.
